First Wednesday Art Walk in February

The weather is beautiful right now, so it should be a great evening for the First Wednesday Art Walk. The theme for the month is “The Vintage Years”.  Here are some of the highlights:

Main Library – Features David Williams’ “Moment in Time” photographic tour of Jacksonville’s African American history and “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War” exhibit.

Headquarters @ Hemming Plaza – Dance and sing along to rock ‘n’ roll with The Shifters.

The Carling – Features vintage photography by Christina Block Photography.

Olio – Enjoy casual contemporary dining and a local art.

Alaric Health Tattoo and Piercing – New Location – Enter a raffle to win $250 towards a tattoo.

Studio 121 – Enjoy the working studios of visual artists.

CoWork Jax – New location – Enjoy art and Bold City brews at this innovation hub. Tweet with the #betterinperson hashtag for a chance to win prizes.

The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. – Enjoy Marsha Hatcher’s “Qart,” art inspired by the QR code.

    ught she was gone Then here she came. I was snapping photos left and right
    and then when she was ready to pose with me my iphone froze.=A0 I should ha
    ve said hey this is lovetown right can someone please take my photo…but I
    was in such shock I did not even think about it…ANYWAY….I was the one
    there with a photo or head shot of Ellen. You see I was at Ellens B-day show and won a trip back to one of the 12 days of Christmas so I’m taking Ellen
    to as many places as I can to take photos for the album….There were lot
    s of people taking photos and I’m hoping that someone there may have taken
    mine?? BY some chance did you?? A0 I know it’s a long shot but I thought
