It is great to see that the trend of eating healthier, more organic produce and less fast food is continuing to grow. Here in Jacksonville we’ve seen an upswing in the number of Farmers Markets in the area, and new markets are opened all the time. This is good news for the consumer, it makes it easier and convenient to shop local produce. Going to a Farmers Market is always a fun experience. I love talking to vendors and meeting other shoppers. I always find something new and interesting.
Our closest Farmers Market is the Beaches Farmers Market, and when we have time we try to go on Saturdays. I always end up buying fresh blueberries and a bunch of vegetables.
