There are lot of history and learning type events and happenings, performance of Les Miserables, special french menus and much more. But what my eye was the two French schooners that are scheduled to visit downtown Jacksonville during the French Week celebration. You can board the ship for a tour, and it is free. I was snapping photos left and right and then when she was ready to pose with me my iphone froze.=A0 I should ha ve said hey this is lovetown right can someone please take my photo...but I was in such shock I did not even think about it...ANYWAY....I was the one there with a photo or head shot of Ellen. You see I was at Ellens B-day show and won a trip back to one of the 12 days of Christmas so I'm taking Ellen to as many places as I can to take photos for the album....There were lot s of people taking photos and I'm hoping that someone there may have taken mine?? Just like the other locals who've been there, it is our favorite restaurant. Not only is the food the best in town, but the whole Bistro experience is fabulous. We always introduce our our-of-town guests to the Bistro, and they ALWAYS ask to go again when they come back to St. Augustine. Great restaurant, great Chef, great food, great experience. I saw it in Fort Lauderdale and can't wait to go again here and take my boyfriend. YOU WILL LOVE THE ENDING! The entire audience clapped! They loved it! What was really cool is the director and one of the producers talked about the film before the movie started and did a BIG question and answer session after the film! Wow, I could not believe the obstacles this film went through. I was really surprised to learn that it was film in 9 days and I think the director said for the price of a house or nice car or something! I was touched when he said that the lead actor freaked out and quit after the first week from pressures. they rewrote the script and killed him off. Then Elliott Gould (my fav) talked the actor into coming back and convinced the director to take him back because he liked the original script! Listening to them was really cool. Anyway...
